A graduate of the University of Silesia, a doctor of chemical sciences at the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry department at the University of Silesia. He has many years of international experience in the field of water and sewage management: International Water (Switzerland), United Utilities (Great Britain), Veolia Water (France), including management of municipal enterprises, running task teams.

Author of several dozen publications in national and international journals in the field of materials chemistry (Polyhedron, Transition Metal Chemistry, Inorganic Chimica Acta), water management (Contemporary Hydrogeology Problems), water and sewage management (Ecological Chemistry and Engineering, Environmental Engineering Bulletin of the Central Mining Institute) , wastewater and industrial water treatment (Polish Journal of Environmental Sciences) and numerous conference presentations.

Lecturer at universities (University of Silesia in Katowice, University of Economics and Administration in Bytom, College of Business in Dąbrowa Górnicza) and training institutions in the field of sustainable development, management, risk analysis, water and sewage efficiency indicators, business plans. He specializes in the field of water resources management, rainwater management, energy use of sludge and waste, water and sewage management for communal communal areas. Advisor and consultant of industrial plants, water and sewage companies, municipal and municipal offices in the field of water supply and sewage management, organizational solutions in the field of rainwater. Expert in water law, in 2006-2009 adviser to the Polish Chamber of Commerce in the field of municipal management, since 2003 a member of the Council of the Basin at RZGW Gliwice.
