OTT netDL 500 and netDL 1000 Data Loggers
The versatile OTT netDL 500 and 1000 data loggers are designed specifically for use in hydrological and meteorological stations. In addition to data logging, they provide extensive communication and data transmission capabilities through various channels such as GSM, Ethernet, or satellite communication. One of the many advantages of these devices is their very low power consumption during operation.
ADVANTAGES
- The integrated web server allows access to the data logger via a regular web browser—no dedicated application is required.
- Standardized sensor inputs and support for multiple data transmission protocols (HTTP, SMTP, FTP), along with various data formats (including XML), enable easy integration with existing or planned measurement systems.
- Redundant communication channels ensure the security of data transmission.
- Parallel processing of data from all connected sensors allows for short sampling intervals.
- Exceptionally low power consumption allows for long-term operation even in battery-powered stations.
- Each data logger can be individually equipped with input and output modules to meet the specific requirements of the installation site.
- Measurement values and other information can be quickly and conveniently read on-site via the display.
- The Ethernet port allows for direct network connection and integration with other data loggers or IP cameras.
APPLICATIONS
- Automatic weather stations (AWS)
- Synoptic weather stations (e.g., AWOS)
- Climatological weather stations
- Hydrological measurement stations

More info
What is the difference between the netDL 500 and netDL 1000 data loggers?
The data loggers are very similar. They differ in size—netDL 1000 has 12 inputs and 6 outputs, while netDL 500 has 6 inputs and 4 outputs.
The 1000 version also features an Ethernet interface, which allows for direct network connection and new IP-based options, such as using IP cameras or connecting multiple netDL units.
