Project aim
The aim of the project was to create a infiltration system calculator based on data from the Polish Atlas of Rain Intensity (PANDa), which contains up-to-date information on indicative rainfall intensity for all cities in Poland.
Project description
Infiltration system calculator was prepared together with Wavin Polska. It helps to select the appropriate infiltration tanks and horizontal infiltration pipes while observing DWA-A-138 guidelines. Depending on the size of the area where runoff is created and the type of soil you get a complete infiltration system based on current precipitation model. It means that the system is selected based on the most critical and foreseeable conditions and parameters. By using several precipitation models we can compare the results from PANDA, Bogdanowicz, Stach, Suligowski and Błaszczak models with respect to precipitation intensity and time. As a result you get a report with tank’s parameters such as size, volume and construction type. You can also download dwg drawings and other materials regarding infiltration.
