Aquanet Retencja needed a tool that would not only allow verification of measurements taken by stationary flow meters, but also make it possible to measure flow at other locations within the sewer network and in watercourses.
Solution
We supplied the company with an OTT MF pro device and provided training with our expert, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. The OTT MF pro is a portable electromagnetic flow meter designed for point velocity measurements in small rivers, channels, and ditches. The device guides the operator through the measurement process step by step, automatically records data, and calculates the flow rate at the end in accordance with international standards. Thanks to its compact design and process automation, it can also be operated by a single person in the field.

The Aquanet Retencja team gained the ability to manually measure water velocity and flow at any location, carry out verification measurements within the network, and check the readings of stationary measuring devices. This translates into greater reliability of field data, more operational flexibility, and a better basis for assessing the performance of retention systems and monitoring devices. An additional benefit is the simplification of the measurement process itself. The OTT MF pro displays real-time values, guides the user through each stage of the procedure, and automatically calculates flow, which shortens fieldwork time and reduces the amount of post-measurement calculations.
